My name is Jason Tucker and I am one of the owners of Cap-it, a family-owned business in Kelowna. As many know, my mother Anne, was diagnosed with Cancer in 2013. Anne battled the disease for 9 years, while still being able to help build our family business from the ground up. On May 23, 2022, we lost our mom at the young age of 61.

After posting the news of her passing, people began sharing stories and memories about how our mom had influenced their lives. Our mom was always helping people, either through our business, her 30+ years at Scotiabank or through volunteering either with Scouts Canada, Girl Guides or coaching one of our many sports teams over the years.

Amidst reading the hundreds of stories and messages, a common theme came about. People wanted to show their love and appreciation for our mom; in one way or another, they all wanted to help. This is when the idea arose to start a memorial golf tournament in her memory and to raise money to help support local non profit organizations throught the Okanagan Valley. Thus, we created the Anne Tucker Memorial Golf tournament. We held our first tournament in 2023 which was an amazing sucess.

After all the positive feedback and amazing support that we recieved at that event, we are excited to release the dates for the Tucker's Swing for a Cause Golf Tournament, being held on Saturday August 16, 2025 at Gallaghers Canyon Golf Club.

Proceeds from this years event will go to The Kelowna Youth Soccer Association.
